January Book Wars

You can click on the tab to the left to learn more about Book Wars. Since this is the first month, I will also post the info here.
Book Wars is a series of battles between books released in 2012 for the first time. It does NOT have to be a debut. It just has to be released for the first time. Since my blog is primarily YA, only YA books are eligible.

There are multiple categories that a book and be entered into. I’ll list them below in a second. Here’s how it will work. On the first of every month, I’ll post form for you to vote in. It will be open all year long. In the month of January, for example, you will vote on the best in each category for that month. Below are the categories in which you can vote.
Best Cover-Is chosen on appeal alone. Do you absolutely love it? Just like it? Have some issues with it? Down right hate it? Vote for the one you absolutely love the most.

Best Synopsis-Is chosen based on how much it makes you want to read the book, if it grabs your attention more than the others, and if it gives the right amount of information. Vote for the one that stands out for you.

Best Title-Is chosen based on how catchy it is, how unique it is, or how well it fits the book.

Best Writing-What book just swept you away with its writing? Which book has writing that you couldn’t forget and you believe is the best.

Best characters-Which characters stood out the most for you? Which are the best and most memorable?

You will vote in whatever categories you’d like.

I will narrow the votes down to the best of each month. During the first week of January, voting will be open for all the categories. To get to the best of the best, the nominations will be listed and you can vote on ONE book for each category. Can you pick the same book for each category? Absolutely. As long as it is listed.

Winners will be named the best of 201-.
