-Birthdays. We have a lot of big birthdays in my family this year. I turn 18, my brother turns 20, my grandma turns 80, my nephew turns 13, and my sister turns 30. BIG turn of events here.
-BEA! I'm going to BEA this year. This is the most exciting of them all. I still haven't found anyone to go with, though. :(
Those are the top two events. Now, for my resolutions. I always make them and only sometimes do I follow through. This year, I can feel in my bones that I'm going to follow through the majority of them. Share what yours are as well! I'd love to know. -Read 200 books. This year my goal was to read 120 books and as of right now, I'm 7 books away from my goal.
-Visit and comment on blogs. This is something that I seriously need to do. I love reading other blogs, but commenting has suffered this year. I am working on this coming the new year.
-Don't get behind! This is something that really bothered and held me back this year. With 3 deaths in the family, medicine changes, and etc it was easy for me to get behind and hard to catch up. I'm starting early with my 2012 reads to get ahead and stay ahead.
-Post at least 3 times a week excluding wars and This Week's Releases.
-More interaction with you, my lovely followers.
-Weekly polls
-More giveaways! I am starting 4 new annual giveaways that will occur throughout the year. When? You'll have to wait to find out!
-Participate in one readathon. I always find out about these when they are coming to an end. I would love to participate in one and I'm hoping 2012 is the year for readathons!
-Read more banned books.
-Participate in IMM and RAK. I already have begun participating in RAK, but not IMM.
-Read more indie books.
-Use the library! Due to my school arrangement, I visit the library twice a week. I need to start using it. I also donate books there on almost a weekly basis to make more room in my bookcases. However, I'm reserving the ARC's for you guys.

I'm going to BEA12 too! My sister and I are trying to make it a yearly thing that we go to. Plus last year we didn't really go see much of NY since we were exhausted.

To find readathons, I usually do a hashtag search on twitter. Sometimes I end up finding about some before they start.
For 2012, I haven't really decided on blogging resolutions. I know I definitely want to read more and try to not fall behind on blogging.
